A representative of BCT took part in an Annual meeting of the Balkan and Black Sea ICT Clusters Network, which took place on 25 January 2018 in Grand Hotel Sofia. The meeting was attended by 25 representatives of member organizations.

On the meeting they were reviewed the activities and decisions taken by the Network in the past 2017 and discussed the action plan for 2018. Mrs.Marina Blagojevic presented the results of a survey conducted among the members of the Network. The survey touched very crucial questions regarding the future development of the BBS ICT Clusters Network like: membership and membership fees, legal representation of the Network, website and its business model, statistical data and general presentation of Network, creation of working groups working on different topics and etc. Visit

For chairing organization for 2018 was elected Foundation of Cluster Information and Communication Technologies.

Four organizations applying for membership in theBalkan and Black Sea ICT Clusters Networkwere presented: ICT Cluster –Varna, ICT Cluster – Burgas, Georgian Cluster National Platform and Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Future activities, opportunities for cooperation and project collaboration were discussed. Trough USAID REG project, a consultant is engaged in the development of the “Sustainability and Lobbying Strategy for the ICT Clusters of the Balkan and Black Sea Regions”. The strategy will be used in the future as a join guidance, and will cover the issues of the permanent secretariat, working groups, etc.
